It Costs NOTHING To Sell Tickets Online
Yes, selling tickets online with webticketing.com.au is FREE
We understand that small organisations and
community groups have to be careful with their money.
That is why we have designed our fee structure to help take the burden off you the seller.
For each ticket we sell we charge 3.5% of the ticket price (with a minimum fee of $2.00 per ticket) plus $0.50 per ticket
if the seating is allocated (due to the additional set up required). If you have more than 100 tickets for sale online,
the minimum ticket fee starts reducing until you get to 400 tickets when the minimum ticket fee becomes $1.00.
As the event organiser you can
chose to pass this on to your customers or absorb some or all of the cost yourself.
Examples of how it works
Option 1: Pass on the cost
You planning to sell 100 tickets for your concert at $20 each.
The customer wants to buy 3 tickets at $20 per ticket.
They are charged $64.50 (3 * $20 + 3 * $1.50 transaction fee).
At the end of the event you receive $60 and webticketing.com.au retains $4.50 which is our fee.
Option 2: Incorporate the cost
In this example you decide to add the fee into the ticket price and still sell the tickets for $21.50 online. You would choose
this option if you felt your customers would rather not feel that they were paying more to buy tickets online.
The customer wants to buy 3 tickets at $21.50 per ticket. They are charged $64.50
(3 * $21.50).
At the end of the event you receive $60 and webticketing.com.au retains $4.50 which is our fee.
Option 3: Absorb the cost
In this example you decide to absorb the cost (since webticketing.com.au has
saved you so much time and hassle) and still sell the tickets for $20 online.
The customer wants to buy 3 tickets at $20 per ticket.
They are charged $60 (3 * $20).
At the end of the event you receive $55.50 and webticketing.com.au retains $4.50
which is our fee.
